We started Black Wave looking for boots that felt solid, understated, and built to last. When we couldn't find them, we decided to make them ourselves.

Today, every pair is produced in small runs in Portugal using traditional Goodyear welt construction, a method now used by only a small number of footwear manufacturers due to the time, skill, and labor involved.

Combined with carefully selected European materials, the result is a boot built for durability, repairability, and years of wear.

Black Wave remains an independent project focused on doing fewer things, properly.
